Good balance of taste. A sweet and not too hot of a finish. Paid a decent price considering the current bourbon market. Surprisingly fast shipping as I've had some orders take weeks to arrive.

I got this on sale from Caskers. It’s a decent pour, and you can definitely get plenty of hints of that Irish Whiskey with it. It’s smooth and very drinkable, although not my cup of tea. For a limited release, the deal was very good on sale, and I am happy I got a bottle.

This is an excellent Bourbon.
Don't let the origin hold you back.
This a well-crafted spirit, with a charming palette, warm to the tongue and gentle to the throat.
We are very familiar with the Adirondack region of NYS, and this will be our favorite 'Camp Fire' Bourbon from now on.

15 years and still counting

I have been drinking Buffalo Trace bourbon whisky for about 15 years, and let me just say, it exceeded all my expectations as always. From the moment I poured a glass, I knew I was in for a treat. The aroma alone is enough to captivate your senses, with hints of oak, caramel, and just a touch of spice. But it's the taste that truly stole the show. Smooth, rich, and incredibly satisfying, each sip dances on the palate, delivering layers of complexity that keep you coming back for more. Whether enjoyed neat or in a classic cocktail, this bourbon stands out as a true testament to craftsmanship. Needless to say, it has earned a permanent place in my liquor cabinet. I was extremely happy with the product.
The packaging for shipping was next level, I was extremely impressed by the level of care put into insuring the bottles arrived safely. There was a packaging insert on top and bottom which securely held each bottle in place and separated from touching other bottles.
I will definitely order from Caskers again and the Bourbon was top notch.

My son brought some buy for me to try and I liked it.He was away on a trip and found it through one of his associates. I dialed it in on Caskers and sure enough there it was. We've been enjoying since I got my order. Very good bourbon.

Buffalo Trace Traveller Whiskey

I found myself in search of a new whiskey bottle. I do have to admit the name of this bottle is what first attracted me to it!
Traveller is the name of an album by Chris Stapleton. A country singer to which I have tickets for an upcoming concert.
So I thought why not let’s try out this bottle.
Now im not biased & this is my honest review. I received this bottle in less than 3 days. Purchased it Sunday afternoon & got it on a Wednesday. Packaging was great & bottle was unscathed upon delivery.
I opened the bottle & took in the aroma. It has a soft, smooth yet a little bit sweet smell to it.
I served a neat shot sized amount in a glass, and drank. When I tell you the aroma is just how it tasted! It’s the most perfect blend of smooth yet with a hint of sweetness to it. But it is not an overpowering sweetness, it is just perfect. The sweetness derives from a small caramel hint.
I’d have to say this bottle should be owned by every whiskey connoisseur out there.
If you know about Colonel E.H Taylor Jr Small Batch, a higher priced bottle yet the best I’ve had yet. This Traveller bottle is my runner up. For the taste & even better the price. It’s a win win. You win with the price tag & win with the flavor.

This has become one of my favorite bourbons. Admittedly, I am a red wine drinker and love the port flavor of this bourbon I do not like sweet drinks, so I do not find this to be overly sweet. It is just right!

Brother's Bond Straight Bourbon Whiskey

Generally mild and slightly sweet, this whiskey has no anger and was very enjoyable by itself and in a Manhattan like mixture. It pairs well with Luxardo cherries and the morning after saw no side affects...all in all a great buy.

Buffalo Trace Traveller Whiskey

Use it only for medicinal purposes when I'm sick. Gargle the throat. Feel stupid for buying it but it can be useful to start a fire, end of the world wound cleaning, cleaning off gunk from something etc.

Fine Low Proof Wheated

This was a staple early in my bourbon journey. A pleasant, low proof and inexpensive wheated bourbon. It is absolutely not worth over $200. That's insane. I wouldn't pay more than $50. I'd rather pay $45 for Maker's Mark Cask Strength, proof it down if too hot for someone. Bourbon prices are out of control.

Widow Jane Decadence 2023 Edition

This is a very nice whiskey. The nose is good. It feels good as you swish it around your mouth. It goes down smooth. I am just a whiskey beginner. My test is, once the first neat shot is gone, do I want another? With this one I did. It didn’t need a splash of water or an ice cube or 24 hours in the freezer. It’s lovely right out of the bottle. For me, that gets it all of the stars.

The story that goes with this one is so big, we were hoping for a dram that would live up to the hype. We did not get what we hoped for. It’s harsh. It’s hot. It’s a lot more fun 20 minutes after it goes down than it is while you’re drinking it. It’s too much money to pay for something that is destined to go into next week’s flank steak marinade.

I don’t write reviews because I’m no expert but this is exceptional for the price. I like my bourbons between 90 and 95 proof but this is close enough. The first sip is mild, smooth and rich in flavor. It becomes enhanced with a chip of ice. This may be the best deal of all.

Redwood Empire Pipe Dream Bourbon Whiskey

Great drink for the price!

Overall super happy with this Redwood Empire. One of my favorites in their entry line. At 90 proof I find it great with the flavors you get from it and its very smooth. If you're into high proof whiskey it may not be for you as it doesn't have that heat. But in the mid $30 range I couldn't be happier with it.

One of the best Bourbons I've had. I have quite a bit of different Bourbons trying various brands but I love the Buffalo Trace selections including: Weller, Blanton's, Col.Taylor.

The nose on this bourbon is exceptional! ~green apple, smoky firewood are the notes I love the most.

It's like something from the old-times in American History. Just a great Bourbon. Getting 2 more bottles for the special guests around the fire-pit. Get this.

Should be a good mixer for many drinks. A little heavy and fruity on the palate. All in all an interesting Kentucky Bourbon.

High Rye Mash For Spiciness Rather than Sweetness

My favorite price range for bourbon value these days is in the $40-50 range. This is a tad more expensive (from Caskers), in NYC, when you can finds it, typically discounted at best to $69. I like Smooth Ambler 13 Year Old more, but now we’re getting into $50-100 range, which is a whole different value category. Spicy rye nose, deep rich flavor, good, but not quite the smooth bold finish I only get in the higher price range. Bottled in bond proof makes it a thoroughly enjoyable sipping bourbon. Of course, it’s great in mixed drinks, but why would you want to adulterate such a well made flavor filled bourbon? Highly recommended at the price.

Aroma was amazing, couldn't stop sniffing the glass with pleasure. But then came the taste... And it was a severe let-down; forgettable back-bar quality at Top-shelf price. Won't be re-ordering or recommending this to anyone.

Interesting but not enough there there

Hi got this for my husband who loves all whiskey and burbons, for Christmas. We both thought it was good, good flavor, refined mouthfeel, but there's a hole in the pallette, if you will. If the flavor journey tell a story, it's almost as if someone tore out a chapter. Something felt like it was missing...(I wonder if that's why they call it rabbit hole, because your left searching for that missing note). Overall, tasty, but wouldn't buy again.

Hard to get - for a reason

I had the opportunity to enjoy a bottle of this with my brother-in-law this Christmas. I normally drink Scotch, but will settle for bourbon from time to time. After a taste I instantly knew why this was hard to get. Smooth and flavorful, every sip was enjoyable. If given the chance, buy on sight!

Gift for boyfriend who grew up in Michigan

I originally saw a review on Tik Tok for this bourbon made in Michigan. My boyfriend loves bourbon so I scoured the internet and found it here. I gifted the bottle to him and we did a taste test. This bourbon is smooth. It has a delicious finish. I even enjoy a glass with him. His boys now drink this bourbon too.
I highly recommend this bourbon!
