About Rabbit Hole Cavehill Straight Bourbon WhiskeyRabbit Hole Distilling, founded by Kaveh Zamanian, produces a beautiful range of award-winning spirits. While their bespoke 24 ft Vendome Copper & Brass still, is being custom-built only a few blocks from their distillery, their Bourbon and Rye whiskeys are 100% Kentucky made, crafted to create a unique drinking experience.
They produced their first barrel from their very own mix of carefully selected grains, which are mashed and fermented at ideal temperatures to preserve certain precise flavors and aromas, before being distilled without compromise. Matured in barrels crafted by Kelvin Cooperage, which has their roots in Scotland, this Rabbit Hole Cavehill Kentucky Straight bourbon whiskey is made from four grains and aged in #3, wood-fired barrels.
With a mash bill of 70% corn, 10% malted wheat, 10% honey malted barley, and 10% malted barley, Rabbit Hole's Cavehill is bottled at 47.5% ABV. A four-grain mash promises spice and honey and a fresh apple breeze. This is a whiskey of remarkable maturity with spice on the front, vanilla, and custard in the finish. Rabbit Hole Kentucky Straight Bourbon earned a Gold medal and "Best Straight Bourbon" at the 2017 New York Wine & Spirits Competition.
