About Bulleit Old Fashioned CocktailAfter inheriting the family recipe in the late 1980s, Tom Bulleit set out to make his own version of the Bulleit Bourbon. "We have a distilling tradition in the family," says Bulleit. "It seems kind of odd that one would have a family recipe for bourbon, but in our part of Kentucky everyone has one."
Today they produce a range of bourbon and rye whiskey that have received numerous awards over the years, and have become the spirit of choice for countless cocktail drinkers around the world. Recently, they've expanded into ready-to-drink cocktails with the Bulleit Crafted Cocktails range that launched with the Bulleit Old Fashioned and the Bulleit Manhattan Cocktail.
The two bottled ultra-premium cocktails were designed with several creative and celebrated bartenders to offer bar-quality drinks in super-convenient form. Bulleit Old Fashioned is crafted with award-winning Bulleit Kentucky Straight Bourbon and orange bitters for a delicious profile with sweet oak, nutmeg, toffee, and zesty orange notes. The cocktail is bottled at 75 proof.

The history of cocktails dates back to the not-so-good days of prohibition when people started to mix drinks trying to make the homemade or bootlegged liquor drinkable.
But things have changed since then, and cocktails have become increasingly popular with modern pop culture, from classics like Martini, Old Fashioned, or Negroni, to the more festive versions like Margaritas and Mojitos becoming staples in most bars.
