About

Tequila

Tequila is a traditional Mexican spirit distilled from agave. Technically tequila is a type of mezcal, but can only be made only in and around the Mexican state of Jalisco, and from Blue Agave. The agave hearts or “piñas” are roasted above ground and traditionally crushed by a large Tahona stone.

The various types of Tequila include; blanco (unaged), reposado (lightly matured for two months up to a year), Añejo (matured for two years) and Extra Añejo (matured for at least three years). One Tequila. Two Tequila. Three Tequila. Four. Explore the vast world of tequila and more.
