About Ranger Creek .36 Texas Bourbon Whiskey
Ranger Creek produces a range of critically-acclaimed Texas bourbon, single malt, and rye whiskey. All of their spirits are bottled with a grain-to-glass ethos, each handcrafted in small batches using Texas ingredients. Each batch of whiskey that flows through the stills embodies Ranger Creek’s grain-to-glass philosophy. .36 Texas Bourbon is matured in small 5-10 gallon casks. This characterful spirit was crafted under the watchful eye of co-founder and Head Distiller emeritus, TJ Miller.
The bourbon is made from locally sourced Texas corn, and is milled, mashed, fermented, before being distilled and matured at the Ranger Creek San Antonio distillery. This traditional process is currently carried out by Ranger Creek’s current master distiller, Allan Hall, and assistant distiller, Josh Gardner. This small batch series is aged in innovative small barrels. .36 Texas Bourbon received Gold medals at the 2015 American Craft Spirits Competition, as well as a Silver medal in 2017. Expect traditional bourbon notes of vanilla, maple syrup, cinnamon, and oak wood.
