Stir up some romance with these Valentine's Day bottles and cocktails!

American Whiskey

Old fashioned

Stir the ingredients for a few seconds. Add a few large pieces of ice and stir for another 10 seconds. Zest an orange peel over the drink, express the oils, and add it to the drink.

  • • 2 oz. of Bourbon or Rye Whiskey
  • • 1 tsp. of mineral water
  • • 2 dashes of Angostura bitters
  • • 1 dash of orange bitters
  • • 1 tsp. sugar (or one sugar cube)

Add all the ingredients to a mixing glass and fill it with ice. Stir, and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with 2 Maraschino cherries on a skewer or lemon twist.

  • • 2 ½ oz. of Scotch
  • • 1 oz. sweet vermout
  • • 2 dashes of Angostura bitters

Forbidden love

Muddle fruit with simple syrup, add gin and blood orange juice. Shake and strain into a martini glass. Garnish with strawberries, cucumber spiral and orange peel hearts.

  • • 2 oz. of Gin
  • • 1 oz. of blood orange juice
  • • 1 dash of simple syrup
  • • 2 strawberries
  • • 4 cucumber slices

The Passion

Pour the Tequila, cranberry juice, and lime juice into a cocktail shaker with ice cubes. Shake well, strain into a chilled stemmed glass. Splash with orange liqueur and garnish with a slice of lime.

  • • 2 oz. of Tequila
  • • 3 oz. of cranberry juice
  • • 1 oz. of lime juice
  • • 2 oz. of orange liqueur
  • • a lime slice for garnish

Rum & Cognac

Between the Sheets

Pour all ingredients into a shaker with ice cubes and shake. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass and garnish with a twist of lemon or orange.

  • • 1 oz. of Rum
  • • 1 oz. of Cognac
  • • 1 oz. of triple sec
  • • 1 oz. of fresh lemon juice
