About Penelope Bourbon Barrel Strength Batch 12 Straight Bourbon Whiskey

The Penelope Bourbon brand was created by Mike Paladini and his wife Kerry, who named the brand in honor of their daughter. They distill and age their whiskey in Indiana at MGP with the help of Kerry's childhood friend Danny Polise, expert blending and bottling assistance from Castle Rock in Kentucky, while Speyside Cooperage provides high-quality American oak casks for finishing the spirits. Based on their signature four-grain recipe, Barrel Strength Batch 12 is blended from 3 bourbon mash bills. The whiskey spent between 4 and 5 years in new American oak casks (#4 char staves, #2 char heads). The whiskey is bottled uncut and non-chill-filtered at 113.9.
