About Xplorer Peanut Butter Whiskey

Kishor Chokshi's journey toward the spirits industry began in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, where he was helping the family do charitable work. After obtaining his MD, MBA, and pilot's license, his career led him to distillation. After running distillation and purification facilities, he settled at Kilimanjaro Distillery, where he employs his scientific knowledge in order to craft small-batch spirits. Operating out of Allentown, Pennsylvania, he crafts various spirits under the Xplorer Spirits banner, helped by his daughter Niky. Xplorer Peanut Butter Whiskey is among their newest releases. The expression is handcrafted in small batches using a copper pot still and bottled at 70 proof. Rich and creamy, the flavored whiskey has notes of vanilla, toffee, caramel, and roasted peanuts.

About American Whiskey

There are two main representatives of the American whiskey family, bourbon, and rye, but some other spirits don't fall into those two strictly regulated categories.

There's equally strictly regulated American single malt, made from 100% malted barley, Tennessee whiskey, essentially bourbon filtered through maple charcoal and aged in new charred oak barrels.

And then there's moonshine, a high proof (150- 170 proof) distilled spirit mainly made out of corn which gained popularity during the prohibition.

Check out our impressive selection of American single malts, or find your new favorite in our rich whisk(e)y selection, and get familiarized with what the world has to offer.
