About Saint Liberty Bertie's Bear Gulch Straight Bourbon Whiskey

Bertie's Bear Gulch Bourbon is named after the legendary bootlegger Bertie Brown, who settled on a homestead in Fergus County, Montana during the 1920s.

Bertie's Bear Gulch Bourbon is a unique blend of 70% corn and 27.5% rye, with just 2.5% malted barley—unlike most other sweet bourbons on the market today.

Aged for at least four years, triple-distilled and blended with a special mix of 53-gallon #3 char barrels and 30-gallon #4 char.

They take their Texas-crafted whiskey to proof by adding Rocky Mountain waters from the Crystal River in Marble, Colorado, that Bertie used almost 100 years ago.

This exceptional bourbon is smoky and complex beyond its years, with savory, spicy, and sweet notes that evolve from the beginning to the end.

About Bourbon

It must be made with at least 51% corn and bottled at 40% ABV or higher. So why not give this American classic a try?
