The Story

About Keeper's Heart Irish + Bourbon Whiskey

Founded by cousins and lifelong friends Patrick and Michael O'Shaughnessy, Keeper's Heart is a celebration of their Irish heritage. They worked together with Master Distiller Brian Nation, who helped them launch their distillery in their hometown of Minneapolis. While their own spirit is maturing, they have launched several expressions that bring together Irish and American whiskey. Keeper's Heart Whiskey Irish + Bourbon was created by Nation in collaboration with High West Whiskey founder David Perkins. It's a blend of Irish grain and pot still whiskey and American bourbon. Each of these components spent at least 4 years in oak casks: the Irish pair in refill bourbon casks, the bourbon in virgin oak. Bottled at 92 proof, it's a unique spirit with notes of caramel, pecan pie, vanilla, cocoa, herbal, and oaky notes.
