Everyone's got a Jack in their lives—in their close-knit circle of friends or their whiskey cupboard. But this Jack is no ordinary lad; he's gotten wiser and more cunning over the years. Jack Daniel's Triple Mash Bottled-in-Bond Blended Straight has been touched by the wisdom of his sagacious predecessors, as it is made with 60% Tennessee Jack Daniels Rye, 20% Jack Daniels Tennessee Whiskey and 20% Jack Daniels American Malt. This warming whiskey—with slight notes of wood varnish and apricot honey—oozes quality and tradition. The Bottled-in-Bond certification is a part of the Bottled-in-Bond Act of 1897, which ensured consistent whiskey production, keeping it at one specific distillery, maturing it for at least four years and finally blending and bottling it at 100 proof.

About Jack Daniel's

Born on September 5, 1850, Jasper Newton “Jack” Daniel was the youngest of ten children. His parents were of Scottish and Irish descent. In 1864, Jack learned the art of whiskey-making from a preacher and an enslaved man named Nathan “Nearest” Green, who eventually became Jack Daniel Distillery’s head distiller. Daniel’s distillery —founded in Lynchburg, Tennessee, in 1866— was the first registered distillery in the country (at the time, distilleries were required to register with the federal government, and the Jack Daniel Distillery was given Registered Distillery Number 1). Today, Jack Daniel Distillery is one of the most distinguished and recognizable names in the spirits industry.

About American Whiskey

There are two main representatives of the American whiskey family, bourbon, and rye, but some other spirits don't fall into those two strictly regulated categories.

There's equally strictly regulated American single malt, made from 100% malted barley, Tennessee whiskey, essentially bourbon filtered through maple charcoal and aged in new charred oak barrels.

Tasting Notes

You can catch a whiff of apricot honey, wood varnish, warming oak, and toffee apples on the nose. The palate boasts rich mince pie flavor, followed by hints of tobacco leaf smokiness and sweet grain. It finishes with rye spice tingles and hints of butter and brown sugar icing.
