In 1738, a brewery was built upon Morangie Farm in the Highlands region of Scotland. A century later, William Matheson acquired the farm and equipped the Morangie brewery with two stills that he purchased second-hand, and renamed the brewery-converted-distillery Glenmorangie. Since then, Glenmorangie has produced some of the finest single malt whiskies in Scotland.

Dark mint chocolate on the nose, followed by tangerines and Seville oranges mingle with sandalwood and walnut before giving way to a spicy hint of pepper and nutmeg. On the palate are notes of mint chocolate and walnuts envelop the palate like velvet, laying the foundations for rose, Turkish delight and sweet Seville oranges. The finish is lingering and silky with dark chocolate mints and subtle citrus.
