Del Maguey is the brainchild of Ron Cooper. With the help of indigenous Zapotec Mexican Indian producers from the remote villages of Oaxaca, Del Maguey uses ancient, original organic processes, and the varying micro-climates and terroir gives each expression a unique, rich, sweet and smoky character. Every product is made by individual family palenqueros (producers) in old-style villages.

Passion fruit and marzipan, with a light cinnamon note of canela (organic Mexican sugar). Floral notes of honeysuckle. Details: Crafted from wild Tepextate (agave Marmorata) grown at a high altitude, almost vertical out of rocky mountainside. Crushed by a horse-drawn tahona. Distilled in a copper pot still.
