Brother's Bond Straight Bourbon Whiskey is more than just a celebrity brand from Vampire Diaries co-stars Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley. It's a delicious bourbon that's crafted with a mash bill of 65% corn, 22% rye, wheat, and barley sourced from American farms. Distilled in a copper column still and aged in American white oak (#4 char barrel staves and #2 char barrel heads), the expression has proved to be an easy-drinking and pleasant sipper that quickly found its place in the hearts of whiskey drinkers. Brother's Bond Cask Strength is a limited release of the expression that's bottled undiluted, unfiltered, and uncut at 115.8 proof, making for a rich, luxurious, balanced, and flavorful whiskey that has won a Gold Medal at the 2022 edition of the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.

About Brother's Bond

Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley weren't just co-stars in the hit TV show The Vampire Diaries. They are best friends in real life, sharing a passion for bourbon. Brother's Bond is a story 10 years in the making that resulted in the Brother's Bond Straight Bourbon being released in 2021. Having taken a hands-on approach, it really is the result of a long friendship: everything from the mash and the taste profile down to the label is the pair's work. A good cause is involved as well, as 1% of the sales goes towards supporting renewable farming practices.

Tasting Notes

The nose is aromatic and rich with caramel, vanilla, and a pleasant sweetness with ripe banana aromas. The palate is intense with honey, rye bread, dried fruit, orange marmalade, earthy, and nutty notes. The finish is long with leather, hints of smoke, and rye spice.
