Borough Bourbon is produced by female-owned distillery, Republic Restoratives in Washington, D.C. Launched in November of 2016, this prominent distillery sourced this bourbon expression from Bardstown, Kentucky.

Borough Bourbon is a roaming spirit that respects where it’s from but knows where it’s going. Bottled at 88 proof this 5-year-old small batch spirit is finished in 50-year-old Armagnac casks. You can expect youthful bourbon notes of dried fruits, honey, caramel and oak tannins with a hint of floral character.

Tasting Notes

Fresh baked bread, dried fruits, vanilla, honey, caramel, oak tannins and floral notes on the nose. The palate is young and rich with buttery notes and sweet well-roundedness. The finish is subtle, rich and warming with faint tannins.
