About Orphan Barrel Barterhouse 20 Year Old Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey

The mission of the Orphan Bottle Whiskey Company is "to share barrels of rare and delicious whiskey, hidden away and nearly forgotten in the back of rickhouses and distilleries. "Once these rare casks of whiskey are discovered, they are brought to the Orphan Barrel Company's headquarters in Tullahoma, Tennessee, where each cask is gently tasted and blended before being hand-bottled.

Barterhouse Kentucky Bourbon Whiskey was aged at fabled Stitzel-Weller Distillery, situated in Louisville, Kentucky. The bourbon was crafted from a mashbill of 86% corn, 8% barley and 6% rye and matured in new, American oak casks.

Barterhouse Kentucky Bourbon Whiskey was matured for twenty years, and as a result, has a dark golden brown color. The bourbon has an aroma of charcoal, honeyed oak and vanilla beans that give way to notes caramel, marzipan, buttered toast and candied oranges on the palate. The finish is oaky yet slightly sweet, with a touch of citrus and chocolate at the finale.

This bourbon is incredibly rare, so pick up a bottle today!
