One of the most technically sophisticated distilleries in the United States, it's set on a 100-acre stretch of farmland that is part of the Kentucky Bourbon Trail and offers a full experience with tours, as well as a complete restaurant in the form of the Bottle & Bond Kitchen and Bar. The distillery’s team, headed by Master Distiller Steve Nally, who has over 40 years of experience in the spirits industry, produces almost 40 unique mash bills for some of the finest whiskeys on the market, including Jefferson's, High West, Belle Meade, Calumet, James E. Pepper, and Cyrus Noble.
The Discovery Series features whiskey that is blended from the finest, hand-selected aged bourbons, where various distillery team members partake in the tasting, analysis, and voting until the perfect recipe is discovered. The #6 is a blend of straight bourbons that celebrates the uniqueness and collaboration behind the expression. 65% of the blend is an 11-year-old Kentucky bourbon with a mash bill of 75% corn, 13% rye, and 12% malted barley, 16% is a 17-year-old Tennessee bourbon with a mash bill of 84% corn, 8% rye, and 8% malted barley, the final component is a 7-year-old Indiana bourbon with a mash bill of 75% corn, 21% rye, and 4% malted barley. Bottled at 111 proof, it's a bold and rich whiskey with notes of vanilla, cedar, candied orange, and cherry.
