The Bardstown Bourbon Company is an ultra-modern operation from the Bourbon Capital of the World, Bardstown, Kentucky. They pride themselves on keeping true to tradition yet taking innovative and bold steps in producing exceptional bourbon, whiskey, and rye. High on the list of Bardstown Bourbon Company's key values is transparency as only a glass wall separates the dinery from the distillery and visitors can observe the process of spirit making while enjoying quality meals, whiskeys, and cocktails.

One of the most technically sophisticated distilleries in the United States, it's set on a 100-acre stretch of farmland that is part of the Kentucky Bourbon Trail and offers a full experience with tours, as well as a complete restaurant in the form of the Bottle & Bond Kitchen and Bar. The distillery’s team, headed by Master Distiller Steve Nally, who has over 40 years of experience in the spirits industry, produces almost 40 unique mash bills for some of the finest whiskeys on the market, including Jefferson's, High West, Belle Meade, Calumet, James E. Pepper, and Cyrus Noble.

Their Collaborative series features innovative collaborations and unique whiskeys such as the Founders KBS Stout Finish. This Tennessee straight bourbon was crafted with a mash bill of 84% corn, 8% rye, and 8% malted barley. After its initial maturation, the 10-year-old bourbon was finished in stout barrels for 15 months. These Founder's KBS (Kentucky Breakfast Stout) barrels come from Founder's Brewing Co. The rich and deep bourbon is bottled at 110 proof.

Tasting Notes

It's a rich bourbon with inviting aromas of cocoa, orange zest, and roasted malt. Look for dark chocolate, caramel, black cherry, spice, and a distinct nuttiness on the palate. The finish is warm and long.
