About Yellow Rose Rye Whiskey

It’s the distinctive Texas soil and climate that provides the foundation for this unique spirit. The highest quality local corn, rye and barley creates a sweet mash which is then fermented into distiller's Beer that they double-distill using a copper-pot still. Once the juice goes into their charred oak barrels, the unique Houston heat and humidity creates a dynamic environment for the spirit to mature for 4 years. This small-batch Rye Whiskey uses a mash bill of 95% rye reminiscent of the pre-Prohibition era. Its tasty classic profile can be enjoyed neat or in a variety of cocktails.

About Rye

As American as the bald eagle, rye whiskey was first brewed in the American Northeast in the 1600s. Even George Washington distilled it after leaving the Oval Office, so there’s no way of denying its origin.
It’s distinguished from bourbon for its original and unique spicy notes.

By law, rye whiskey must be made from at least 51% rye grain, aged in new and charred oak barrels for at least two years, and bottled at no more than 62,5% ABV.
