The Story

About Starward Two-Fold Australian Whisky

In 2007 Starward Whisky was born. Founded by David Vitale, Starward is handcrafted in the bedrock of southeastern Australia's wine scene. Vitale helped kickstart the Australian single malt movement under the tutelage of whisky godfather Bill Lark, himself.

Distilled at their facility in Melbourne, Starward Nova is a unique single malt, shaped by the hot climate and legendary red wines of Australia. The supreme quality single malt maker was recently crowned Best Australian Whisky Innovator.

Two-Fold is a double grain whisky that is entirely matured in our signature Australian red wine barrels. A union of Australia’s two most quintessential grains; Wheat and Malted Barley, coming together to create a flavor-forward whisky that is filled with rich complexities driven by the power of two grains.

Matured in Melbourne’s intensely reactive climate, leading to a beautifully balanced and incredibly versatile sipping whisky. The nose is filled with spiced vanilla and fresh tropical fruit. Whilst the palate is flowing with hints of Fuji apples, roasted pineapple, lightly toasted oak, and a soft tannic finish. This uniquely Australian whisky earned "Best Australian Blended" at the 2019 World Whiskies Awards.
