Handcrafted in Owensboro, Kentucky, the whiskey was designed in collaboration with Green River Distilling Co's master distiller. Shady Mile High Rye Kentucky Straight Bourbon is crafted with a mash bill of 21% Kentucky rye and 70% corn, then brought to 90 proof with Kentucky limestone filtered water. Concentrated, big, and bold, this expression isn't overly complex, making for an approachable yet flavorful drink.

Tasting Notes

The nose is fruity with cherry, baking spices, marzipan, chocolate, toffee, oak, and rye spice. The palate is pleasantly sweet with maple syrup, caramel, and oak notes. The sweetness lingers on the finish with honey, oak, spice, and tea notes.
