National Bourbon Day

About

National Bourbon Day

Bourbon was allegedly created in 1790, and June 14 remains National Bourbon Day since 1964. To be considered bourbon, the liquor must be made from 51% corn, be stored in new charred oak barrels, distilled no more than 160 proof, and barreled at 125 proof. Jefferson's, Rabbit Hole, and Smooth Ambler are the contemporary expressions that perfectly encapsulate the rich history of the American native spirit.
