The founders of Mythology Distillery—three Colorado natives who “seek out experiences through travel and adventure”—came together to create a line of spirits based on the stories that happen in life.

The company’s Best Friend Bourbon in particular highlights the special relationship between a man and his dog, as well as their many shared experiences.

Mythology Best Friend Bourbon is a blend of three bourbons, including two high-rye whiskeys aged 2 to 5 years and one 15-year Kentucky bourbon.

Bottled at 88 proof it delivers wildflower honey & warm cornbread on the nose and then gives way to honeycomb, gentle cinnamon & toasted almonds on the palate. Finishes with vanilla, pipe tobacco & black currant.

"Wildflower honey and warm cornbread are the first scents you smell. The honeycomb is front-and-center in your mouth, then cinnamon and toasted almonds come through strongly at midpalate before settling down into a sophisticated finish that completes this delightful sip of Kentucky bourbon. The 15-year bourbon evokes rich vanilla and pipe tobacco with a hint of black currant on the finish."
