Elvis Whiskey pays tribute to The King of Rock 'n' Roll. The brand was envisioned by Matti Anttila, a former J.P. Morgan investment banker turned spirits entrepreneur, who fell in love with spirits during a business trip to Brazil. The brand launched with two expressions that borrowed Presley's nicknames: Tiger Man (rye) and The King (whiskey). But Presley was known as much more than that ― including as an inventor of decadent snacks, the peanut butter banana bacon grease sandwich being perhaps the most famous. Enter Elvis Whiskey Midnight Snack, a flavored whiskey that pays tribute to the legendary sandwich. Both savory and sweet, this 70-proof flavored whiskey features a balance of banana, peanut butter, and smoky bacon notes.

About Elvis Whiskey

Grain & Barrel Spirits is the passion project of Matti Anttila, a former J.P. Morgan investment banker turned spirits entrepreneur. During a business trip to Brazil, he sampled the local Brazilian cachaça. He enjoyed it so much so that he decided to launch Cabana Cachaça quickly building it into a successful brand. After another spirits investment, he founded Grain & Barrel Spirits in Charleston, South Carolina, in 2013. Today, Grain & Barrel Spirits is a global beverage platform that develops authentic spirit brands.

One such brand is Elvis Whiskey. "Elvis was one of the most significant cultural icons of the 20th century and continues to inspire his fans today," says Anttila. About American Whiskey

There are two main representatives of the American whiskey family, bourbon, and rye, but some other spirits don't fall into those two strictly regulated categories.

There's equally strictly regulated American single malt, made from 100% malted barley, Tennessee whiskey, essentially bourbon filtered through maple charcoal and aged in new charred oak barrels.

And then there's moonshine, a high proof (150- 170 proof) distilled spirit mainly made out of corn which gained popularity during the prohibition.

Tasting Notes
