About Crown Royal Dallas Cowboys Edition Blended Canadian Whisky

The Crown Royal Dallas Cowboys Edition, crafted in partnership with the iconic Dallas Cowboys marries signature Crown Royal Whiskies with a unique Texas mesquite smoke twist. At 40% ABV, it's a robust, full-bodied Whisky that can be enjoyed neat, on the rocks, or as part of a cocktail. This limited-edition blend offers flavor notes of caramel, vanilla and a smoky finish that will be appreciated by both Whisky connoisseurs and Cowboys enthusiasts alike.

Crown Royal’s inception was inspired by a royal visit in 1939, when King George VI and Queen Elizabeth were presented with a meticulously crafted blend of about 50 Whiskies. After over 600 trials, this blend was born, presented in an elegant cut-glass decanter, and encased in a regal purple bag. Crown Royal has since grown to become the top-selling Canadian Whisky in the U.S., offering a variety of unique blends fit for royalty.

About Crown Royal

Crown Royal Blended Canadian Whisky was created in 1939 as a gift for King George VI and Queen Elizabeth who made history when they became the first reigning monarchs to visit Canada. Upon hearing the historic news, Sam Bronfman, the owner of The House of Seagram, set out to craft a whisky suited for the Royal Couple. He meticulously trialed more than 600 blends before settling on an exquisitely smooth blend of roughly fifty whiskies which became known, fittingly, as Crown Royal. The final product was presented to King and Queen in a cut-glass decanter and regal purple bag with gold stitching. The train carrying the monarchs was stocked with 10 cases of the royal blend. Crown Royal was released in the United States in the 1960s and has since become the top-selling Canadian whisky. To this day, every drop of Crown Royal award-winning whiskies is crafted to meet the same uncompromising standards. The brand is now owned by Diageo.
