About Coopers' Craft Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey

Brown-Forman are the proud owners of their own barrel cooperages ― the only major whiskey-maker to own them ― allowing for total control of the process of crafting their bourbon. This includes a proprietary toasting process that they employ during the production of their barrels. Coopers' Craft takes advantage of the skilled master coopers when making their Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey that's distilled from a unique mash bill. After the bourbon is aged, it goes through a proprietary filtering process, where beech and birch charcoal is used. This process ensures that the finished 82.2-proof bourbon has a unique oakiness, as well as making the spirit extra-smooth.
