Ungava Canadian Premium Gin is a craft gin from an unexpected place. It’s created with a corn spirit and six Canadian arctic botanicals: crowberry, cloudberry, wild rose hip, nordic juniper, arctic blend, and Labrador tea. All botanicals are foraged by hand and dried in northern Quebec to celebrate the tundra environment. The secret recipe for Ungava Gin dates back two generations and involves slowly steeping the botanicals for 5 weeks and infusing them both pre- and post-distillation. The final result? Plenty of complex flavors and a unique golden hue. We recommend you savor it poured over ice, garnished with a grapefruit wedge.
Ungava Canadian Premium Gin was named after Ungava Bay in northern Quebec, which is the northernmost tip of Quebec. Not only is the place absolutely stunning with gorgeous nature and natural phenomena like the Northern Lights and ice floes drifting around, but it’s also an ideal growing environment for precious botanicals that are native to the arctic region. And it’s exactly this: the unique plants and unparalleled climate that make Ungava Gin so special.

About Gin
According to Winston Churchill, "The gin and tonic has saved more Englishmen's lives and minds than all the doctors in the Empire," referring to the British officers using it to treat malaria in India.
Initially made for medicinal purposes, gin gets most of its flavor from the juniper berries added after the distillation process. It sure has come a long way from the Middle Ages, with the introduction of new botanicals, fruits, and spices, bringing it closer to people of all flavor varieties.
A vibrant yellow hue. On the nose, aromas of fresh citrus zest and aromatic pine with some spice notes from the nordic juniper and arctic blend. Expect the palate to be fresh and floral with bright fruity notes, crowberry, and wild rose hips flavors. The finish is velvety smooth.
