It's the distillery's flagship whisky brand and a spirit that is crafted with lightly peated barley and a two-and-a-half-times distillation process. The 2021 edition of the Springbank 12 Year Old Cask Strength Single Malt is bottled at a cask strength of 111.8 proof after being matured in ex-bourbon barrels, making for a balanced whisky that is smooth, creamy, and fruity. It opens up beautifully with a drop or two of water, which brings out additional milk chocolate and vanilla notes.
