About The Orphan Rhetoric 22 Year Old Kentucky Bourbon Whiskey

The mission of the Orphan Bottle Whiskey Company is "to share barrels of rare and delicious whiskey, hidden away and nearly forgotten in the back of rickhouses and distilleries."Once these rare casks of whiskey are discovered, they are brought to the Orphan Barrel Company's headquarters in Tullahoma, Tennessee, where each cask is gently tasted and blended before being hand-bottled.

The Orphan Bottle Whiskey Company's Rhetoric 22 Year Old Kentucky Bourbon Whiskey was sourced from the fabled Bernheim Distillery, situated in Louisville, Kentucky. The bourbon was matured for twenty years, and as a result, has a deep bronze color, along with an aroma of cherries, graham crackers, maple syrup and toasted marshmallows. The aroma gives way to notes of intense cocoa, honey, caramel, roasted nuts and corn, and leads to a long, silky finish with a touch of citrus.
