About Reisetbauer Blue Gin
A small batch gin, Reisetbauer Blue Gin is pot distilled after infusing his wheat neutral spirit – made from locally sourced Mulan wheat – for 2-3 days with 27 botanicals, including juniper, lemon rind, angelical root, cilantro seeds, turmeric, and licorice. Following the unfusion, the spirit is distilled for a third time and cut down to 86 proof with soft spring water that's sourced from the alpine pastures in upper Austria. The result is a clean and smooth gin with an intriguing and refreshing flavor profile.
Reisetbauer Blue Gin is created by Hans Reisetbauer that began his distilling journey in 1994. Based in on his family farmhouse in Axber, Austria, it was there that he planted the first orchards for his famed brandies. He began with distilling eaux-de-vie and soon rose to international fame with his high-quality, premium brandies sold in restaurants and bars all around the world. His dedication to only using the finest fruits and patient distilling methods as well as his obsession with perfection brought his range of products, which includes brandies, a whiskey and two gins, numerous awards.
