Non-chill filtered and bottled at 94 proof, it was created in honor of Hazen S. Pingree, mayor of Detroit (1890-97), who is widely considered one of the greatest mayors in US history and a champion for the Detroiters who fought monopolies and corruption.

Mayor Pingree Red Label is an incredible whiskey that's bold, balanced, and versatile—equal parts sessionable or sippable by the dram if you prefer. Try it neat or in any of your favorite cocktails.

Tasting Notes

On the nose, Mayor Pingree Red Label Bourbon Whiskey really impresses unique sweetness. There are notes of butterscotch pudding with hints of wood. There’s a subtle fruitiness here too, apricot mostly. The palate is inviting and offers flavors of almond nuttiness and caramel sweetness, culminating in a fairly long lasting finish with burn that brings along freshly shelled peanuts and strong oak notes.
