IrishAmerican 5 Year Old Irish Whiskey is a refined blend crafted on the picturesque Achill Island, home to the only island distillery in Ireland. This premium whiskey combines 70% malted barley and 30% whole-grain wheat, triple distilled in copper pot stills for an exceptionally smooth profile. Matured for a minimum of 5 years in first-fill Kentucky bourbon barrels, it undergoes non-chill filtration to preserve its natural flavors. With floral and citrus aromas, hints of cinnamon and oak, and a balanced palate of vanilla, oak, and mild pepper, it delivers an authentic taste of Irish heritage with modern ambition.

Its origin comes from the perfume distilling monks who decided to tweak the recipe a bit, creating Irish whiskey.
Irish whiskey doesn’t have a lot of rules and regulations to be considered “pure” and can be made with various grains and processes, as long as it is aged for at least three years in wooden casks and has a max ABV of 94.8%.
