About Baron de Sigognac Vintage Single Estate 1993 Bas Armagnac (700mL)
Armagnac Baron de Sigognac Single Estate Single Vintage 1993 is truly an exquisite and distinguished spirit. Now 30 years old, it encapsulates the essence of Bas-Armagnac, meticulously grown, harvested, and distilled at Château de Bordeneuve. Embracing traditional methods, this 100% natural craft eau-de-vie is a testament to purity, produced without additives, relying solely on distilled grape juice, oak, time, and generational know-how. Utilizing a unique mash bill of Baco & Ugni Blanc grapes, it's fermented with natural yeasts and single-distilled to 40% vol., then aged in hand-crafted French oak barrels sourced from Limousine & Vosges forests. The initial 18 months in new oak, followed by transfer to older barrels, occur in ancient cellars, ensuring a complex aging process. With tasting notes of pale amber color, a fine, fresh nose, and flavors of candied fruit and prunes, it offers a superb, fruity, and toasted finish.
