About Baron de Sigognac Vintage Single Estate 1943 Bas Armagnac (700mL)
Baron de Sigognac Single Vintage Single Estate Armagnac 1943 is a testament to 80 years of tradition and excellence. Nestled in the heart of the Armagnac region, this 100% natural, artisanal spirit is born from the harmonious blend of Baco & Ugni Blanc grapes, meticulously grown at the esteemed Domaine de Bordeneuve. Embracing only traditional methods, this eau-de-vie is fermented with natural yeasts and distilled once to 40% vol., capturing the essence of its terroir. Aged in hand-crafted French oak barrels sourced from the Limousine & Vosges forests, it spends its initial months in new oak before transitioning to older barrels for a prolonged maturation in the château's ancient cellars. This careful process yields a beautiful amber spirit with golden highlights, offering a symphony of prunes, fine vanilla, dried fruits, and a lingering finish of grilled almonds and subtle wood. An embodiment of heritage and flavor, the Baron de Sigognac 1943 is a treasure to be savored.
