Willie and Robin Blazer opened Willie's Distillery in 2010. Located in Montana, the distillery aims to capture the spirit of the American West, supporting the local economy and residents in the process. The distillery is built around a bespoke copper pot still made by Holstein, a family-owned company that has been building world-class spirits stills since 1958. Willie's Genuine Canadian Whisky pays tribute to the rich history and impact that Canadian whisky has had throughout the history of the North American Rocky Mountains West. Distilled in Canada, the whisky matures for 3 years before being cut with local Montana water and bottled at 80 proof. It features notes of toasted oak, caramel, baking spices, rye, and citrus.

Established in 2010, Willie’s Distillery possesses a passion to create brands and products that capture the spirit and authenticity of the American West, supporting its local economy and residents. Founders Willie and Robin Blazer showcase local ingredients and regional flavor, to produce world-class spirits.

Willie’s Distillery boasts a bespoke copper pot still made by Bavarian Holstein Stills crafted by a family-owned company that has been building world-class spirits stills since 1958. They mill, mash, ferment and distill corn, barley and oats on site. Their veteran staff includes previous members of multiple branches of the United States Armed Forces acting in positions ranging from Production to Sales and Management.

After almost a decade, Willie’s Distillery has become Montana’s premier destination distillery producing several of the state’s best selling homegrown brands. And like the early days of the distillery, each step of production is done onsite, producing the spirit, bottling, labeling, corking and packing all of their spirits by hand.

Tasting Notes
