About Pa'lante Añejo Rum

Pa’lante Añejo Rum is a testament to craftsmanship, born on a family-owned hacienda in Chiapas, Mexico, with over 75 years of rum-making heritage. This exceptional rum is a blend of sugarcane and molasses distillates crafted using copper pot and column stills. Aged in a meticulous dual-barrel program with American and Mexican oak, it’s double-oaked at both 120 proof and 90 proof for unparalleled depth. This Cuban-style añejo rum boasts a delicate aroma and a palate of subtle tannic dryness, with notes of vanilla and baking spice from American oak and hints of tobacco and leather from Mexican oak.

No sugar or additives ensure a pure and authentic experience.

About Rum

Rum history allegedly started in the Carribiens in the 17th century when they started to ferment and distill molasses, a byproduct of sugar production. Most of the Rum is aged in oak or ex-wine casks, giving its color and flavor.

We distinguish between 4 different Rum categories, where white or unaged rum is mainly used in cocktails, while dark, spiced, and añejo (aged) rum are mostly enjoyed neat.
