About Martin Miller’s Original Gin

After being served a mild and lukewarm gin and tonic on one inauspicious day, founders Martin Miller, David Bromige, and Andreas Versteegh conceived the idea touched by a stroke of genius—why not make the best gin there is and source water from pristine clear springs in Iceland? And that’s precisely what they did. Their plan stuck, and The Reformed Spirits Company launched Martin Miller’s Original Gin in 1999. This spirit is distilled in pot stills in the good old UK and transported to majestic Iceland, where it is enhanced with Icelandic spring water, resulting in a spirit that is bottled at 40% ABV and boasts flavors of juniper, Seville orange, lemon licorice, cassia nutmeg, and Iris Florentina.

About Gin

According to Winston Churchill, "The gin and tonic has saved more Englishmen's lives and minds than all the doctors in the Empire," referring to the British officers using it to treat malaria in India.

Initially made for medicinal purposes, gin gets most of its flavor from the juniper berries added after the distillation process. It sure has come a long way from the Middle Ages, with the introduction of new botanicals, fruits, and spices, bringing it closer to people of all flavor varieties.
