About Hugh Hamer Double Oak Small Batch Straight Bourbon Whiskey

A tribute to Indiana’s whiskey heritage, Hugh Hamer Double Oak Small Batch Straight Bourbon Whiskey honors the legacy of a once-renowned 19th-century distillery in Lawrence County, Indiana. Originally crafted by the Hamer family, this bourbon mash bill—99% corn and 1% malted barley—has been revived by West Fork Whiskey Co. with respect for tradition and quality. Aged over 4 years in a #4 char American oak barrel and then finished for an additional 1 to 2 years in a second charred oak barrel, it develops rich, layered flavors. Notes of freshly charred oak and dark chocolate emerge on the nose, followed by a palate of cherry, caramel, and vanilla, leading to a dry oak finish that echoes its double-barrel maturation.

About Bourbon

There are not many things more American than bourbon, and although most of it is produced in Kentucky, it can be produced all over the USA.
It must be made with at least 51% corn and bottled at 40% ABV or higher. So why not give this American classic a try?
