About Hella Eucalyptus Cocktail Bitters

The Hella Cocktail Co is based in Brooklyn, New York, and was founded in 2011 by a group of cocktail-loving friends — Jomaree Pinkard, Tobin Ludwig, and Eduardo Simeon — after experimenting with making bitters at home. The immense success that followed soon after they opened their doors came as a shock and they quickly ramped up production.

Apart from making small-batch bitters, the company focuses on mixology, producing mixers and kits that enable you to craft your own bitters and cocktails. Their range of bitters includes Aromatic, Orange, Smoked Chili, Citrus, Ginger, Apple Blossom, Eucalyptus, and Mexican Chocolate variations. They even have canned Bitters & Soda drinks, the sugar-free Dry Aromatic, the bittersweet Spritz Aromatic, as well as the more recently released Lemon Lime, Ginger Turmeric, and Grapefruit.

Their bitters are crafted with gentian, "The King of Bitters". The plant is indigenous to Europe and is known to aid digestion. Their proprietary bitters have spices such as anise, allspice, fruit peel, and various botanicals. The Eucalyptus Cocktail Bitters are made with eucalyptus leaves and lemon & orange zest. Each 50 oz bottle contains 80 servings. Fresh and citrusy, these bitters feature light menthol notes.

About Cocktails

The history of cocktails dates back to the not-so-good days of prohibition when people started to mix drinks trying to make the homemade or bootlegged liquor drinkable.

But things have changed since then, and cocktails have become increasingly popular with modern pop culture, from classics like Martini, Old Fashioned, or Negroni, to the more festive versions like Margaritas and Mojitos becoming staples in most bars.
