This Japanese whisky is a blend of malts and grains from distilleries on Japan's Honshu island. A staggering 8 out of the total 9 distilleries are located on Honshu.
Bottled at 40% ABV, this special label illustrates a giant dragon-like creature with several limbs. You can expect notes of caramel, vanilla and exotic notes of ginger, plum wine and an uncanny umami like quality.

About Japanese Whisky
Although maybe not be the first Spirit you would think of when Japan is mentioned; the Japanese make one of the best types of whisky in the world. It’s heavily influenced by scotch but with smoother and delicate notes.
The history of the Japanese whisky is not even a century old, but in this short time, the Japanese blended and single malts have taken over the world by storm and can easily go against their whisk(e)y counterparts from across the globe.
Caramel, vanilla and honey on the nose with notes of plum wine. Creamy notes and lemon twists and oak. The palate is sweet and tart in the mouth with notes of dried fruits and green grapes and baking spice. The mouthfeel has a touch of umami and bitterness. The finish is medium and light with notes and subtle ginger.
