About Branson Phantom Cognac
Sire Spirits is owned by award-winning hip-hop megastar, actor, producer, and entrepreneur Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson. The company houses 2 cognac brands: Le Chemin Du Roi and Branson. The artisanal spirit builds on the rich tradition, history, and production techniques that are associated with cognac. The finest ugni blanc grapes are hand-picked, pressed, and fermented in vats. Afterwards, the wine is distilled using traditional pot stills, capturing the elegant aromas in the resulting eaux-de-vie. Aged in French oak from Alliers, Limousin, and Tronçais, Branson cognac is crafted with young and old eaux-de-vie. Branson has developed a unique complex and elegant house style that is fruity and floral with touches of sweet spice, tobacco, and vanilla. They take pride in allowing time to work its magic on the liquid within the barrels, aging their cognacs longer than is necessary.
The Branson Phantom Cognac expression is crafted with eaux-de-vie from the Borderies and Fin Bois regions. It's aged in French oak (mainly from Alliers, Limousin, and Tronçais) for at least 2 to 3 years with some components older than 4 years, resulting in a soft finish. With the care and methods used, this 80-proof cognac sips closer to a VSOP with citrus, apple, and tobacco notes and an exquisitely balanced and smooth finish.

About Cognac
Cognac is a type of brandy produced in the Cognac region of France.
Because the French take it very seriously, there are numerous rules cognac makers have to follow not to fall “short” into the brandy category.
The white wine from the specific grapes (Ugni blanc) has to be doubly distilled in a copper pot still before being aged for at least two years in oak casks from which the wood can only come from two specific forests in France (Limousin or Tronçais).
Depending on the age, there are three types of cognac, the youngest V.S. (Very Special), V.S.O.P. (Very Superior Old Pale), and the X.O. (Extra Old)
