About Big Stick

Big Stick was founded by a USMC veteran and an engineer, two patriotic friends with a shared love of bourbon. During a vacation, Mike Ryan and Joe D. Baker II realized that they were looking for a new venture. The idea for a business that would combine their love of bourbon and respect for the military came about while one of the two was spending some introspective time in church. Thus, Semper Fi Brands, LLC was born with the goal of producing outstanding spirits, donating a portion of the profits to military charities.

During their testing of various mash recipes, they became frustrated with how little wiggle room there is when trying to differentiate one's product from what's already on the market. Thus, they came upon the brilliant idea of placing a charred stick inside each bottle. Together with a custom recipe, this bold and innovative process makes for a unique flavor profile. Big Stick Bourbon was born.

About Bourbon

Tasting Notes

The nose opens with caramel, citrus zest, corn bread, vanilla, and hints of forest aromas. On the palate, you'll find honey, cloves, wood, orange blossom, quince, and hints of nuttiness with almonds. The smooth finish has a balance of lingering sweet honey notes, oak, and a touch of clove.
