Bhakta Spirits was founded by Raj Peter Bhakta, the genius behind WhistlePig Whiskey. The 2013 Bourbon is a bold American bourbon that's danced with ancient Armagnac brandy, France's crown jewel. Crafted from 99% corn in the heartland of America, the Indiana bourbon is then whisked away for a secondary cask finish in French oak barrels, handpicked from Château Bhakta's finest stock. Can you believe these casks cradled blends of Armagnac dating back to 1868? Aged just shy of 10 years, its deep, rich amber hue holds flavors as complex as its history. On the nose, expect hints of vanilla, biscuits, and toasted oak. The palate? Get ready for a spicy ride with notes of nutmeg and hazelnut. And the finish? A cozy blend of stewed pears and apples.

About Bhakta Spirits

Raj Peter Bhakta is many things: an entrepreneur, a political candidate, even a reality show contestant. He founded WhistlePig in 2007, eventually selling it in 2019. Then, he set his sights on a fresh project, embarking on a quest to find something rare and exquisite ― a venture that would shake up the spirits industry. In France, he discovered a cellar, filled with armagnacs that were distilled between 1868 and 1970. He envisioned an ancient brandy, tailored to the tastes of whiskey lovers. Thus, Bhakta 50 was born.
