About Vusa Vodka

Spearhead Spirits, a Pan-African liquor producer, is on a mission to enlighten the rest of the world about the premium spirits yet to uncover in all parts of the African continent. The mission: ‘champion authentic African flavors and celebrate African voices and stories.

This vodka is made in a state-of-the-art micro-distillery in Midlands, South Africa called, you guessed it - the Midlands Distillery. The small but might operation makes some serious African bespoke spirit brands using only the highest quality equipment to secure a brand’s vision from raw materials to the final tipple. Not to be unnecessarily modest, for Midlands luxury is the direction.

Locally cultivated sugarcane and local pristine water from KwaZulu-Natal are used to make the award-winning Vusa Vodka. It also undergoes a specific filtration process through baobab fruit shells. The rest is left to the copper still. Result? A silky and smooth vodka with a crisp finish with a favorable 43% Vol. It bagged the flattering 2021 Gold Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition too.

About Vodka
