About Mr Peabody Small Batch Rye Whiskey

Peter "Peabody" Spicer was hopping from job to job for 20 years (and just as many jobs!), until he found his true calling: the spirits business. He poured all his savings into Dumbass Whiskey, which is practically a one-man outfit with the simple goal of delivering high-quality whiskey. Mr. Peabody Rye Whiskey is distilled in small batches from a mash bill of 95% rye and 5% malted barley. Peppery, spicy, and smooth, the 90-proof spirit has a classic rye taste profile that's equally delicious on its own or in various cocktails.

About Rye

As American as the bald eagle, rye whiskey was first brewed in the American Northeast in the 1600s. Even George Washington distilled it after leaving the Oval Office, so there’s no way of denying its origin.
It’s distinguished from bourbon for its original and unique spicy notes.

By law, rye whiskey must be made from at least 51% rye grain, aged in new and charred oak barrels for at least two years, and bottled at no more than 62,5% ABV.
