About Baileys Deliciously Light Irish Cream Liqueur

The quality ingredients play a crucial role in Baileys. 200 million liters of fresh Irish milk that mostly comes from small, family-owned farms are used each year in the production of the cream that ends up in Baileys. The cream is then homogenized with whiskey from several distilleries, employing a process that prevents the liquids from separating. Several other secret ingredients, herbs, and sugar are a part of the recipe which includes their proprietary cocoa extract.

Baileys Deliciously Light Irish Cream Liqueur was released in 2021 and features the creamy deliciousness of the original liqueur with Irish cream, cocoa, and vanilla flavors. This expression contains 40% less fat and 40% less sugar, while the alcohol content has dropped from 34 to 32.2 proof. A 2.5 fl oz serving contains 139 calories, 3.7g fat, and 7.8g sugar, compared to the original's 233 calories, 10.1g fat, and 13.3g sugar.
