About Tita Dona Celia Blanco Tequila

The skeletal La Calavera Catrina has become one of the most prominent images of Death in Mexico and an integral part of the imagery of the Day of the Dead celebrations. Tita Dona Celia Blanco Tequila comes in a ceramic, hand-painted bottle shaped like the elegant skeletal lady ― La Catrina. It is crafted at Casa Maestri in Jalisco, Mexico. Ripe blue Weber agaves are harvested and left to slowly ferment for 48 to 60 hours. Then, the liquid is distilled twice using copper-pot stills. The tequila is bottled unaged at 80 proof, offering a smooth and clean taste profile with notes of banana, cinnamon, and fruit.
