About Somrus Chai Cream Liqueur

The House of Somrus, established in 2014, is an American company, based in Burr Ridge, IL, which created the world’s first line of India-inspired liqueurs. Flavors are at the center of their philosophy – without flavors the world would be dull, horizons narrow and conversations boring. Inspired by authentic Indian recipes and willing to share the best tastes and aromas of their home country of India with consumers of the world, the owners created the recipes in their home kitchen, using all-natural ingredients and spices.

Each expression pulls in different spices, ingredients and flavors that are then complemented by handcrafted rum and real dairy cream. They want to create unique expressions with a taste profile that is equal parts gourmet, homely and global. The House of Somrus is driven by flavor and believes that beverages should be as flavor-forward as food. Their innovative line up lends itself to all year, all day drinking experiences.

Somrus Chai is the brand’s original expression, made with real Wisconsin dairy cream and 5x distilled handcrafted Caribbean rum. The base is blended with an exquisite mix of nuts and spices – cardamom, pistachio, almond, rose, saffron, and turmeric – to create an aromatic, flavorful, creamy and gently sweet liqueur. Somrus is made without using artificial flavors, contains no preservatives and is gluten free. You can enjoy Somrus Chai on its own, mixed in a cocktail, or even baked in a dessert.

About Liqueur
