About Skinnygirl

Skinnygirl cocktails is the project of author, chef, and entrepreneur Bethenny Frankel, most known for starring in the reality TV show "Real Housewives of New York." What started off as a simple pre-mixed bottled Margarita cocktail quickly spiraled into a range of ready to serve cocktails, wines, and flavored vodkas.

At one point the Skinnygirl cocktails was one of the fastest growing spirit brands. The label achieved so much success that it was eventually acquired by industry powerhouse, Beam Inc., in March of 2011. The skinny girl line consists of several low-calorie spirits options, as the label was inspired by the idea to bring to the market "all of the cocktail options you want, without the extra calories you don’t" (producer).
