About Absolut Raspberri Flavored Vodka

Sweden’s vast meadows and hillsides are known for the abundance of delicious berries one can harvest. Wild raspberries, ripened to perfection and picked on the open Swedish slopes are what makes this rich and intense Absolut vodka an absolute fan favorite. Even though it’s extremely rich in taste, the spirit manages to keep its indispensable versatile quality, making it impressively easy to mix. Made solely from natural ingredients and without added sugar, it can certainly add the magic touch that makes up a perfect blend, but it can just as easily be enjoyed neat or on the rocks.

Originally introduced in 2004, this fresh and fruity spirit was produced around the village of Åhus in Sweden and bottled at 80 (40% ABV) proof.

About Absolut Vodka

Absolut Vodka was launched in New York in 1979, however, the world’s leading premium vodka stands on over 100 years of vodka-making tradition. In 1879, Swedish entrepreneur, Lars Olsson Smith, also known as The King of Spirits, introduced Absolut Rent Bränvin (Absolute Pure Vodka). What set his vodka apart from others in the market was its purity, achieved by the innovative process of continuous distillation that removes the last remnants of fusel alcohols and impurities. This process is still used today to make Absolut, while every bottle of Absolut bears a silver medallion with Smith’s portrait.

When introduced globally a century after its invention, Absolut’s innovative and creative spirit shone through in its bold marketing. To get noticed in the late 1970s New York, where everything seemed flashy and showy, the company designed a transparent and label-less bottle, inspired by 18th-century apothecary bottles.

Absolut pioneered collaboration with artists. Their first collaboration was with no other than Andy Warhol in 1985, and some 550 artists have been commissioned by the brand since. The Spritmuseum in Stockholm has over 850 pieces of Absolut art on display. Absolut is now part of the Pernod Ricard global family.

About Vodka

Historians are not clear on the exact origin of vodka since different sources link its beginning to both Russia and Poland. But one thing is clear: this somewhat simple spirit, first used as a medicinal concoction, has become one of the most versatile drinks in the world.

It can be distilled from any type of grains, potatoes, or even grapes worldwide. Due to its simplicity, this unaged spirit's main flavor factor is the quality of water and the ingredients used in the distillation process.

Primarily used in cocktails, vodka can also stand its ground when enjoyed neat.
